Plurals and a Freebie

November 9, 2014

I love using graphic organizers to help my students learn about plurals. There are so many rules for them to remember.   Graphic organizers really help my students see the pattern on how to make words plural.  I usually introduce two rules at a time.  Once they understand all of the rules, they beg to do more.  We made these Pilgrims and Native Americans to go with our plural graphic organizers.  It was a fun way to end a Friday afternoon.

There is a great plural noun rules freebie by Teaching with Love and Laughter over on TPT.
Here is another Thanksgiving freebie for you.  Click on the preview for your freebie.  It is a great way to review second-grade skills.  It can be used for morning work or homework.

Do you have kid friendly grammar and spelling rules?
I can always find lists, but never rules.
