My class made these chicks for Easter.  I bought the pattern from Glyph Girls.  I love their products!
After our math lesson, we played Easter themed math games.  The Egg Hunt was a freebie from Teacher Tam. It is a fun way for my students to work on memorizing their math facts.  Click here for the link.

I projected the images below on my SMART board and the students designed an Easter friend.  It is another great Freebie from Lita Lita.  Check out her blog called Learning in Spain.
I bought myself a DSLR camera.  This summer I will be busy learning how to use it.  For now, I will be using the auto mode.
My furry children, Lexi and Hunter, patiently posing for a picture.

You have the most adorable dogs! The kids did a great job creating those eggs – perfect activity when they're so full of excitement!

  • Those Easter chicks are absolutely adorable! It sounds like your class had a ton of fun getting ready for the holiday.

The chicks look cute and simple. There is another site that has themed crafts and it is free each month. I visit fairly regularly…http://monthbymonth.scholastic.com/create.html.
