Christmas is a special time of year. It is the time of year that we want to make memories with our students. I have gathered many Christmas ideas and want to share some of my favorite ones with you.
Christmas Arts and Crafts
1. This year I purchased a membership from Deep Space Sparklers. My students are loving all the art lessons. I think it is important for students to draw and use all types of art media. Here is a cute Folk Art Santa from Deep Space Sparklers. Click on the picture for a step by step video.
2. Here is an easy Funky Reindeer bulletin board that I made with my class. You can get the FREE pattern from Teach Starter.
3. I can’t wait to have my students make these whimsical Christmas trees. I will give each student a triangle and they will decorate the tree with markers and oil pastels. Mounting them on black paper really makes them “pop”. I like to add a black and white border to make it look more complete.
Christmas Treat
Here is a fun and easy reindeer treat to make for your students from The Keeper of the Cheerios. One night I will cut the antlers and the next night I hot glue everything onto the brownie. They are super easy to make.
Christmas Gift Ideas
This year I want my students to make these stained glass pictures for their parents. Check out the post from Pocket of Preschool on how to make them.
Here is a cute way to wrap the gifts from Creatively Teaching First.
